| I install the Desert Combat mod to 1942 only to find out it was crashing. Today I did some research that indicated DirectX 10 may be the culprit. I have had problems with 1942 crashing to my desktop as well. I just wanted to let you guys know and I will install 1942 on my second PC. _________________

| If anyone else is interested in playing the Desert Combat Mod for BF1942, you will need the following downloads installed.
Desert Combat Mod v0.7 Full (591.28 Mbs)
http://files.filefront.com/Desert+Combat+Mod+v07+Full/;2033471;/fileinfo.html
Desert Combat Final Client (361.04 Mbs)
http://files.filefront.com/Desert+Combat+Final+Client/;3667807;/fileinfo.html
Instructions:
Both Downloads are in .exe format.
Load the .07 Full FIRST, then load the Final Client. You need BOTH to play the game.
The preliminary maps for play are already located in the downloads. (There will be others, but these are the ones that we will be playing.)
Me and Sgt York played a little last night and it has its advantages over the stock BF1942. The helicopters I can fly! And the Harriers, A-10s, F-14's, Mig-31s are awesome, even though the air to air missiles are a little off. _________________
